Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Pop! Barriss Offee [790] vs Other Animated Series Exclusives: Which to Collect?

Quick Answer

If you're a dedicated Clone Wars or Tales of the Empire fan, the Barriss Offee Pop is a must-have for its character significance and convention-exclusive status. If you're more budget-conscious or prefer a classic animated look, other animated series exclusives like the Naruto Shippuden Sasuke Uchiha offer a similar collectible thrill at a lower price point.

The Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Pop! Barriss Offee [790] has generated buzz among collectors, but how does it stack up against other animated series exclusives? This comparison focuses on the key differences—character appeal, exclusivity, and price—to help you decide where to spend your collecting budget.

We'll look at the Barriss Offee figure alongside other animated series exclusives available at Fugitive Toys, such as the Naruto Shippuden Sasuke Uchiha Wondercon 2025 release. By the end, you'll know which one suits your collection style and financial comfort zone.

Character Appeal: Clone Wars vs Naruto

Barriss Offee is a Jedi Padawan who plays a pivotal role in the Clone Wars narrative, especially in the later seasons and the Tales of the Empire animated series. Her Human Beast Form figure from NYCC 2025 captures a dramatic transformation that resonates with fans of the darker story arcs. For Star Wars enthusiasts who follow the animated canon, this Pop is a direct link to a key character moment.

On the other hand, the Naruto Shippuden Sasuke Uchiha Pop, a Wondercon 2025 exclusive, appeals to anime fans who appreciate a classic, iconic pose. Sasuke's 'Paw Encyclopedia' theme is a playful nod to the series, offering a lighter, more whimsical take on a beloved character. If your collection leans toward anime rather than Star Wars, the Sasuke figure might be more meaningful to you.

• Consider which franchise you're more emotionally invested in before choosing.

Exclusivity and Rarity: What's the Real Difference?

Both figures are convention exclusives, which typically means limited production runs and higher demand. The Barriss Offee Pop is an NYCC 2025 release, while the Sasuke Uchiha is a Wondercon 2025 exclusive. Convention exclusives often appreciate in value if the character gains popularity, but that's never guaranteed.

The Barriss Offee figure is priced at $105 (compared to $210), reflecting its status as a highly sought-after exclusive. The Sasuke Uchiha Pop is more accessible at $30 (compared to $60). This price difference doesn't necessarily indicate quality—it's more about supply, demand, and the collector base. If you're chasing rarity, the higher price tag on Barriss Offee might be justified for you; if you're just starting out, the Sasuke figure offers a lower-risk entry into exclusive collecting.

• Check the current market value trends for both figures before making a decision.

Budget Considerations: How Much Should You Spend?

Your budget is a crucial factor in this comparison. The Barriss Offee Pop is a significant investment at $105, which might be a stretch for casual collectors. However, if you're a completionist aiming for all Tales of the Empire figures, it could be worth the splurge.

In contrast, the Sasuke Uchiha Pop at $30 is a more budget-friendly option. It still offers the thrill of owning a convention exclusive without breaking the bank. For those who want to expand their animated series collection without a major financial commitment, the Sasuke figure is a practical choice. Remember, the value of a Pop is subjective—what matters is how much joy it brings you.

• Set a monthly collecting budget and stick to it to avoid overspending.

Trade-Offs to Consider

• Character depth vs. playful charm: Barriss Offee represents a serious, transformative moment in Star Wars lore, while Sasuke's Paw Encyclopedia is a lighter, fun interpretation. Choose based on the emotional connection you want. Think about which character resonates more with your personal fandom.
• High price vs. budget-friendly: Barriss Offee costs $105, a significant investment, while Sasuke is only $30. The higher price may reflect rarity, but it also limits accessibility. Assess your budget and how much you're willing to spend on a single collectible.
• Convention exclusive status: Both are convention exclusives, but their availability and demand differ. Barriss Offee's NYCC status may make it harder to find, while Sasuke's Wondercon release might be more accessible. Check current availability and secondary market prices to gauge true rarity.
